Leadbeater's Possum

This precious little creature is Victoria's State  Animal Emblem, critically endangered in an environment that is being destroyed by clearfell logging, already reduced by the wildfires that went through the area in 2009.

This possum lives in tree hollows in old growth mountain ash forests in a very small geographical area. Protection by the establishment of the Great Forest National Park is urgently required.
